The Rocket camera platform produces exciting high speed underwater footage while offering the camera operator smooth directional and speed control. Large underwater High Definition and 35mm film cameras can pan and tilt 200 degrees while travelling over 6 knots.
The most resent project, Pacific Abyss, involved a five week trip from Turk to Palau. ‘RocketCam’ flew through the canyons and caves carrying a HD camera and lights. This three part series will air autumn 2007 on BBC1 and Discovery Channel.
Rocket 5 is now in development and will be available for day rental. Hydrodome can supply a full service rental package including operator.
Previous, Andrew has worked on a range of film projects including BBC Shark Special, Sea Quest DSV, and James Bond Tomorrow Never Dies. We have also assisted in script development and set design.
